Green Bank Building

The Park Midway Bank building on Como Avenue will be one of the most energy efficient bank buildings in the State of Minnesota. The building, built to LEED specifications, has been submitted for LEED designation from the US Green Building Council by using energy saving and environmentally friendly design and construction methods. Park Midway Bank has used many energy saving features including motion sensor lighting to conserve energy, 75% daylight in occupied spaces, individual thermostats for at least 50% of occupants, recycling or salvaging 50% of construction waste and low flush toilets to name a few. All electricity is generated from 100% wind power purchased from Minnesota wind farms.
